Based on an intensive study of dewdrops, Antao is inspired by nature. In search of the perfect imperfect shape dewdrops were photographed in their three-dimensional form. The two-dimensional photographs were then used to develop the three-dimensional bodies.
The result is a bathroom collection characterized by an organic, asymmetrical design language inspired by nature. In this way, Antao responds to today's need to create objects and spaces that have similar essences to those of nature: energising, calming, balancing and comforting.
The collection consists of washbasins, bathroom furniture, mirrors, faucets, toilet seat and a freestanding bathtub. Staying true to its concept, Antao is based on natural textures and high-quality surfaces such as ceramics, stone and solid wood. The organic design principle refers to the production process and the material ceramic - each washbasin is unique, just as each dewdrop is unique. All components of the collection are optimally coordinated with each other and result in a holistically designed bathroom. For more flexibility and design freedom in bathroom planning, Antao offers washbasins in three sizes and two installation types.
